You are in front oft he only remaining house in the village of Diemtigen from the 17th century.



Built in 1648 by the master carpenter Stefan Bergmann, one of the most talented craftsmen of his time. Unusually, the ridge runs parallel to the street. This is the only remaining house in the village from the 17th century.



The decorative elements were originally painted white, red and black. Carved inscription in Roman script. The small consoles under the upper floor truss have been removed, the windows have been enlarged and the building has been extended on the side facing the valley.
