17 - Hasli
Hasli 21
House Hasli has been built in 1689. Even older ist the house to the north: with the year 1516 under the roof corbel, this is the oldest visible date in the Bernese Oberland.
Built in 1689 by the master carpenter Michel Reber with contemporary annex (restored in 1979). Black, notched Roman and Gothic inscriptions accompany the red-and-black carvings of cubes and diamonds.
Also worthy of note is the house to the north (Hasli 9), with the year 1516 under the roof corbel. This is the oldest visible date in the Bernese Oberland; the gable facing the mountains is original. Notice in particular the tapered purlins, unusual for the Diemtigtal.
